Peng Lin
Peng Lin was born in Xiamen, China. She began her piano studies at the age of four Since 2006, Peng studied in The Music School Attached To The China Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. This year, She has enrolled Pre-College Division of The Juilliard School and as a pupil of Ms. Yoheved Kaplinsky.
Peng Lin has won numerous prizes in international and national competitions, including: the 3rd Prize & Chopin Prize in the 8th International Competition For Young Pianists "Arthur Rubinstein In Memoriam" (Poland); the 2nd Prize in the Louisiana International Piano Competition in 2009 (United States); Bronze of the Concerto C Category & Junior High School Category in the 10th Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA (Japan). And Peng also won many 1st Prize in national piano competitions in China, such as 1st Prize of the 11th & 12th XINGHAI CUP National Youngster and Children Piano Competition; 1st Prize of the Chinese Works Category and the 2nd Prize of the Junior Category A in the Fourth (HONGKONG) HAILUN CUP Chinese Compositions Piano Competition; 1st Prize of the Children Group in the 2nd CADENZA CUP National Chinese Compositions Piano Competition; 1st Prize of the Junior Category in the 3rd GULANGYU National Youngster and Children Piano Competition & Festival.
In recent several years, Peng Lin participate many master classes, music festivals and given concerts throughout her native China. In 2008, Peng made her orchestral debut with Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra.

Besides playing piano, I like reading. Books about finearts, history and geography are my favorite.
